Specific areas have been designated where residential activity can occur but it is intended to restore the indigenous vegetation and natural habitats of the remaining property. Some 80 hectares of the total 90 hectare property will be formally protected ensuring preservation of its natural character and local heritage.  As a result the wildlife habitat of the area is expected to be significantly enhanced, especially the native bird population.
